Collaborating with Linux and Compulab to achieve a Mini PC and finally, they did it. Compulab has announced that the new Mintbox Mini 2 PC will be available for pre-order in the month of August. The Mintbox Mini 2 PC will be available in 2 configurations and it would cost around $299.
The Mintbox Mini 2 Pro is not available from the Fit-iot websites and it will be made available soon from Amazon in the month of August 2018.
MintBox Mini 2 PC
The base model with Intel Celeron J3455 quad-core Apollo Lake processor paired with 4GB of RAM and equipped with 64GB SSD storage will cost around $299. And the other configured with 8GB of RAM, 120GB SSD will cost you at $349. The two feature the latest stable version of Linux Mint 19 “Tara,” and 5% of your monies spent on the Linux Mint project.
The MBM2 is fully compatible with the fitlet2 FACET cards for 4 ethernet ports, 8 USB ports, 4G modem and more. The Mintbox Mini 2 PC also features 2 x mini DisplayPort outputs offering the 4K 60Hz video and with an HDMI 1.4 output with 4K support too.
Talking about the connectivity, they come with both 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.1 WLAN as well as a handy serial COM.
